"Wuhan, We Are With You"
Composed a song with Chinese lyrics and produced an online music video to raise over RMB120,000 (USD19,000) for under-funded Wuhan hospitals in the very early days of the COVID Pandemic.
2021
"Works of Matthew Cline"
Presented a concert recital of a dozen original works to raise over RMB12,000 (USD1,900) for cancer research. Compositions ranged from solo piano to contemporary marimba duets to jazz arrangements.
2022
The "Shanghaied" Soundtrack
Recorded a 16-song album from the original musical "Shanghaied" with original cast and orchestra after its 3 successful production runs in 2021 at the Huiyin Theater in Shanghai. Composed all score and lyrics, mixed all recording tracks.
2023
MD'ing CHICAGO the Musical
Directed music aspects of a full-scale production of "CHICAGO" the Musical. Rehearsed and conducted a 25-piece orchestra, and played solo trumpet, while also collaborating on set design and mixing all on-stage audio.
